Working For Green is dedicated to the belief that every individual can enhance their environment and daily lives through innovations that save money, make money, and provide meaningful work...without relying on government or corporate assistance. We share motivating success video stories and provide timely information showing how people are helping themselves and others during this very challenging economic time. We seek to be an invaluable resource and helping hand to create a sustainable community through success stories that inspire others to become more financially secure.

Susan Neisloss, Founder

Susan founded Working For Green in 2008 based on her desire to help people improve their economic situation through innovations and meaningful work in the green arena. Using her expertise as a former TV reporter and producer, combined with jobs in the public relations and corporate arenas, Susan brings a unique perspective to telling entertaining, emotionally compelling and educational stories about “ordinary” individuals whose ideas and success are benefiting themselves and their community.

Susan’s career includes media manager and spokesperson for a leading healthcare company and director of communications at CBS in Los Angeles. As president of Big Bite, Inc. for more than a decade, Susan provides clients with creative communications tools to enhance their visibility. Susan devotes some of her spare time to help organizations such as Worldwide Orphans Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

As an aspiring tree hugger, Susan has replaced her incandescent bulbs with CFLs, is taking shorter showers, has stopped idling her car, has begun composting her kitchen scraps, and will soon build a vegetable garden. She admits she has a long way to go but she's excited about adopting other eco-friendly lifestyle choices. Her father was a passionate gardener and animal lover, and Susan credits him for her love of nature and respect for the environment.

Susan has a BA in English from Stanford University and lives in Pacific Palisades, California with Fred and Mia, her two fabulous rescue dogs.
